Short Description
An electrically operated bed suitable for domestic use. Features include adjustable backrest, knee break, leg elevation, Trendelenburg tilt and bed height. It has full length wooden bed rails, and wooden bed ends. Bed dismantles for transport. A self lift pole is included, to assist with transfers. Single size only.
Method Of Use
The hand control has a light on the bottom right hand corner. When this is off, the hand control is inactive.
A small black fob is attached to the hand control cord. Swipe the base of the fob across the .........of the hand control and a yellow light will show. The hand control functions can now be activated except for the Trendelenburg function (head down) in the lower right

More Details
FRAME
Steel frame with wooden slat base. The centre three slats can be adjusted to increase the flexibility in the centre of the bed. The frame dismantles for transport and storage.
SELF LIFT POLE
The support for the "monkey bar" is mounted at the head of the bed on the right or left side, and angles towards the centre of the bed. The bar has a length adjustable strap that slips over the support bar. Load capacity 80 kg.

Backrest angle, knee break, leg raise, trendelenberg and reverse trendelenberg.
- legrest raise (bed frame bends at knee area and the foot end of the bed remains parallel with mattress platform)

HAND CONTROL
Electrically operated with push buttons. The control has three operation modes, indicated by the light on the control:
. no light - off,
. green - operation of backrest and leg position, bed height and Trendelenburg
. orange - operation of Reverse Trendelenburg and Trendelenburg
The control position is selected by wiping a magnet over the indicator light on the hand control. The magnet is attached to the control cord.
CASTORS
100mm diameter swivel braking castors.
BED RAILS
Wooden full length rails that drop down when released by pushing a button on each bed end. The rails must be supported when lowering, to avoid breaking the flexible hinges. There is a gap of 110mm between the two bed rails.
POWER SOURCE
Mains power.
MOTOR
Dewart motor, located under the centre of the bed.
DISMANTLING
The bed frame separates into two sections and each bed head separates from the frame.
