Short Description

A battery powered mid wheel drive wheelchair with a powered stand up mechanism to 85 degrees. The chair can be driven from sitting and standing. An optional powered reclining backrest enables lying to standing. Powered seat lift and tilt in space is optional. Available in two adult sizes (Combi) with three seat widths and one child size (Combi Jr) with three seat widths. A range of options is available. The chair is custom made.

This is a scripted wheelchair. The supplier takes the measurements and sends them to Switzerland where the chair is made to order.

Factors To Consider

Caution should be exercised prior to trial or purchase of a Stand Up wheelchair. Medical clearance by a doctor is recommended before standing. Assessment of the person's cognitive ability to safely use the Stand Up wheelchair is an important consideration.
