A mid wheel drive, battery powered wheelchair suitable for indoor and outdoor use. Features a range of powered seating options and growth adjustable seating. Available in a range of sizes suitable for paediatric use. A range of options and accessories is available.

Options

Control Options
Attendant control, additional control, fixed mount, swing-away mount, centre mount swing-away, right or left hand mount. Range of joystick handles (stick, ball, foam ball, T-handle or goal post).

Alternative Access Options
Environmental control module, mono and output cables, hand held programmer pad, penta switch, switch adaptor, sip n puff system, head array package, switch it head array package, proportional mini joystick, proportional head control, proportional chin control, single switches (buddy button, disc switch, egg switch, micro switch, ribbon switch or wobble switch).

Tilt In Space
Option of 30 degrees of manual tilt (powered is standard). On non-tilting frames, a fixed tilt of 3, 6, 9, 12 or 15 degrees is available.

More Details

Frame
This wheelchair features an epoxy coated steel power base with a plastic shroud cover. Seating is metal with foam and fabric upholstery cover. Various shroud colours are available.

Seat
The Zippie TS adjustable rehab seat frame is standard. Options include solid seat, seat pan or omitting the seat for use with Jay or other commercial seating systems. Optional manual tilt-in-space (up to 30 degrees) is available. The seat is available in four seat to floor height settings and five seat angle settings. Optional backrests include short, medium, tall or solid. The backrest can be omitted for use with Jay or other commercial backrest systems.
A range of seating systems are available in a range of sizes. Powered options include tilt in space, backrest recline and elevating legrests

Headrest
Height and angle adjustable and is available in two sizes

Transporting
To facilitate transportation, the power base features four tie-down points as standard (including tie-down locations and wheel locks). The seat can be removed from the powered base. A manual dependent base is available as an option. This is a lighter weight manual wheelchair base which is easier to transport and also to propel by an attendant.

Armrests
Fixed height, padded waterfall armrests in desk or full length as standard. Options include adjustable locking flip-up, single post height adjustable in paediatric, adolescent or adult sizes. Armrests can also be omitted.

Controller
Fully programmable and the standard controller features on/off and mode switches, LCD display, three buttons with infrared capacity, proportional joystick, battery charge indicator, and speed control. The controls can be customised by programming to show icons versus words. Also available with two stereo jacks and additional on/off mode switch and speed. Various mounting options and attendant controls are available.

Centre Wheels
255mm (10") in diameter, pneumatic tyres as standard. Solid tyres are optional.

Front Wheels
150mm (6") diameter, solid castors.

Rear Wheels
100mm (4") diameter, solid castors

Handles
Available in the option of standard, medium or tall stroller handle back posts. Other options include removable stroller handle extensions or a height adjustable backrest with adjustable stroller handles.

Legrests
Either hanger mounted or extension tube mounted. Options for hanger mounted include 70, 80 or 90 degree swing-away, front mounted legrests. Also available in heavy duty lift-off in the same angles. Elevating legrests and hanger extensions are also optional. Options for extension tube mounted include short, medium, long or high mount. Hangers can be 60 or 70 degrees, swing-away, articulating or elevating.

Footplates
Available in a range of options depending on hanger choice. These include angle adjustable, single footboard, flip-up platform, or two-piece flip-up aluminium footplates.

Batteries
Two 12 volt, 50 amp hour gel batteries.

Brakes
Electromagnetic with additional manual wheel locks.
