Structure
The cushion is made of a combination of memory and high resilient foam with gel foam in the ischial region to provide increased pressure relief. Gel foam is a form of pliable foam with gel like qualities.

Cover
The inner incontinence cover is made of two way stretch material. The outer cover is also two way stretch and breathable, so that moisture is wicked away to assist with regulation of body temperature. The outer cover is washable.

Factors To Consider

The contouring of this cushion helps with weight distribution and the contour height can be increased as a custom modification.

All cushions must be monitored to prevent 'bottoming out'. This occurs when the user's weight bears down so hard on the product material that it is flattened and the bony parts are pressed against the surface below the cushion. Where bottoming out occurs even with correct use (eg correct choice and depth of foam, correct inflation level) , a different product may need to be considered.
