Short Description

A range of water powered portable hoists suitable for domestic or public facility use. The range includes hoists which enable access to in-ground pools or those which provide assisted access to above-ground pools of various heights. The hoists lift hydraulically, using water pressure from a garden hose. Can be customised and a range of options available.

Models

Two models of pool hoists are available.
* In-Ground Automatic Turning (IGAT) hoists have upper and lower controls within reach of the deck or water enabling user operation without assistance. This style of hoist is lightweight and portable and has models with 90, 135 and180 degrees automatic seat rotation.
* Above ground hoists (AG) with manual seat rotation and requiring assisted operation

All hoists include lift up armrest, seat belt and headrest as options

More Details

* Constructed from stainless steel and non corrosive fittings, it has a polished finish.
* A standard plastic seat is provided with two rigid armrests and an adjustable padded footrest. The footrest can be lifted up to a vertical position to allow for transfers.
* All hoists operate using water pressure from a garden hose to raise and lower the unit.
* The AG models are suitable for above ground pools and spas
* The IGAT model hoists turn using automatic operation while the AG model hoists are turned and positioned over the pool manually.
* The IGAT hoists are lightweight and can be removed from the anchor socket with no tools.

Factors To Consider

It is recommended that prior to using this product, training in manual handling and the correct use of assistive devices should be undertaken.

Installation

Installation requires an anchor socket in the pool deck, for IGAT model hoists or is mounted on a stainless steel plate that is welded to the cylinder bottom and bolted to the floor for AG model hoists.
