More Details
The shower bed framework is made from rust protected steel with a powdercoated finish. Other components of the trolley are made from stainless steel. The top of the trolley is made from reinforced, stretch vinyl and urethane fabric with foam, padding, rounded edges.
The mobile base has four 125mm swivel castors. Three of the castors have lockable brakes and one castor has a track lock brake to assist with the steering of the shower trolley in a straight line. Rounded ends and a buffer rail around the perimeter protect the trolley during transportation.
The height of the trolley is adjusted by the hand operated, electric controls. This is powered by a 24V battery located underneath the trolley.
The tub has a plug allowing up to 120 litres to be retained in the tub to allow the user to be bathed. Water is drained from the trolley through a long, flexible 50mm drain hose.
The electric mechanism is used to raise the inside of the trolley to assist with transfers. There is a small lip once the inside of the trolley has been completely raised.
Maintenance
Clean with mild detergent and water. No corrosive or abrasive cleansers can be used.
