Return 7500 Standing Aid

This standing aid consists of an upright steel frame mounted on a mobile platform. It is used by an attendant to transfer a person in a standing position from one seat to another over short distances. The frame has a handgrip bar and knee supports. The foot support has six wheels. An optional belt can be used to assist the occupant into a standing position.

Short Description

This standing aid consists of an upright steel frame mounted on a mobile platform. It is used by an attendant to transfer a person in a standing position from one seat to another over short distances. The frame has a handgrip bar and knee supports. The foot support has six wheels. An optional belt can be used to assist the occupant into a standing position.

Method Of Use

To use the Return
* Apply brake on wheels of ReTurn
* Place the users feet where indicated on the base plate and assist to lean forward and grab the support bars
* Transfer to a standing position with knees against support pads and hands on grab bars
* Attendant should provide counterbalance during all transfers
* Attendant to release brakes and move user and device to desired location
* Reapply brakes and lower into new seated position

To Use the belt
* The belt should be applied prior to standing
* Guide the lower part of the belt towards the base of the buttocks
* The elastic part of the strap should be above the buttocks and the rigid part below
* Attach the belt using the hook and loop straps
* Fasten the securing buckle around the central pole
