Short Description
An electrically operated, four section bed designed for domestic or healthcare facility use. It is mobile and designed to lower close to floor height. The bed has electrically adjustable height, backrest, trendelenburg (tilt), reverse trendelenburg tilt) and knee break. The bed is available in a single size only. This bed can be modified.

More Details
Frame
* Rust proofed epoxy powder coated heavy duty steel frame with removable, ABS mattress platform (with integrated mattress retainers)
* There is moulded ABS housing over height adjustment tower at head and foot end of the bed
Headboard and Footboard
The 'Queen Anne' contoured headboard and footboard are removable, but the towers at either end have motors inside and remain in position.
Colours
* Antique cream is the standard colour but other colours are available
* Quality moisture resistant laminate and power coated finish
Adjustment
The bed has the following adjustable features, height adjustment, backrest angle with anti-jam, knee break (bed frame bends at knee area and the foot end of bed remains low) with anti-jam and heel elevator, and trendelenburg and reverse trendelenburg tilt ( + 15 degrees to - 15 degrees).

* Various mattress options are available including inner spring, latex rubber, or foam
* There are various cover options available
Castors
Four independently lockable bearing castors.
Motor
* A motor to control the height adjustment is in each tower at either end of the bed
* The removable controller and motor to control the backrest and knee break angle are positioned directly within the bed frame.
Transporting
The bed can be tilted on its side and moved on its castors through doorways.
Factors To Consider
* This bed can have the option of tilting to the side to allow it to be moved through doors while using the castors
* The knee break can assist to prevent an occupant from sliding down the bed, or to reposition to redistribute pressure
* The leg raise also has the facility to raise the ankles
