A battery operated pill box with a timer. Features seven compartments to store medications, a clock and an alarm function.
ADJ - adjusts the hour and minute settings for the clock and alarm.
SET - sets the hour and minute for both the time and alarm settings.
STOP - shuts off beeping alarm during alarm cycle.
RESET - If errors are displayed on the LCD or an unusual beeping alarm sound occurs (eg. caused by changing batteries) press the RESET key to return to the normal condition.
Setting the Correct Time
Press the SET key for 3 seconds to enter the Hour Setting Mode (hour blinking).
Press the ADJ key to set the hour, then press the SET key again to enter Minute Setting Mode (minute blinking).
Press the ADJ key to set the minute. Press the SET key to return to Normal Mode.
In the Time Setting Mode, you can switch between Hour, Minute, and Normal Mode just by pressing the SET key.
If one minute elapses in Time Setting Mode without any key being pressed, it will return to normal mode automatically.
Toggling 12/24-Hour Clock
In Normal Mode, press the ADJ key to switch the time system from the 24 hour clock to the 12 hour clock, and vice versa.
Setting Alarm as a Reminder to Take Medicine
To set the alarm as a reminder to take medicine, slide the alarm switch corresponding to the desired alarm time to the up "on" position. From 6.00am to12pm, there are 37 preset time slots at hour intervals which can be selected as the alarm time to remind the user to take their medicine. If an "alarm clock" is turned on, the pill reminder will beep to remind the user at the appropriate time. If multiple "alarm clocks" are set, they will sound one by one to remind the user.
Uses 2 x AAA batteries.
