Frame
* The folding mechanism features a safety lock located on the side of the walker. This prevents the walker from accidentally unfolding
* The frame is an eggplant (purple) colour
Seat
* The seat is foam padded and vinyl upholstered and flips up to enable access to the zip up bag located underneath and to facilitate folding the walker
Backrest
* The curved backrest is padded and is removable via push buttons
* The padded backrest is covered with a removable fabric sleeve
Wheels
* The walking frame features four solid 150mm diameter castors
* The two front castors swivel, the rear castors remain fixed
Height adjustment
* The seat height and handle height are telescopically adjusted on the legs via a series of holes. The height is secured in place with triangular hand screws
* Six different seat to floor heights are possible on this walker
Hand grips
* The hand grips are made from contoured foam and plastic
Brakes
* The hand operated brakes lock on by depressing the levers positioned underneath the hand grips and are released by squeezing the levers upwards until the locks are released
* Gently squeezing the locks upward will temporarily apply the brakes
Method Of Use
Adjusting handle and seat height
* Undo screw knobs on legs of walker and remove
* Slide the legs up and down until the desired hole is aligned. Ensure the same numbered hole is chosen on each leg
* Reinsert the screw knobs and hand tighten
* Note: handle and seat height are both adjusted in this process
Folding the walker
* Lock the brakes on by pushing the lever downwards
* Lean the walker backwards. Pull the strap, attached at both ends to the tie rod, towards you to initiate folding
* The position of the casters must be aligned properly to allow the walker to fold completely and lock
* The safety latch will click into place when the walker is properly folded
Unfolding the walker
* Lock the brakes on by pushing the lever downwards
* Pull the safety latch outwards to disengage the folding mechanism. The safety latch is located at the centre of the black folding bracket on the right side of the walker
* Unfold the walker and press down on the handles firmly to ensure it is fully opened
