More Details
Transmitter
The GeoSkeeper has a built in speaker-phone system with a mobile connection. The speaker phone is able to receive voice calls as well as call pre set numbers, through it's speed dial system. The GeoSkeeper is programmable, the wearer or carer can program in numbers for speed dialling, automatic answering, geofencing and other alert conditions.
The GeoSkeeper has a GPS locator. The user is required to press a distress button on the transmitter and a call is activated to the monitoring centre, and an alert can be sent either to a carer's phone or email. These alerts can include information on the GPS co-ordinates of the person.
The geofencing notifies a carer immediately via phone or email, when the wearer wanders outside a specified area or departs from their usual walking route. The carer or wearer is able to set up the safe zone through GPS mapping.
Monitoring Options
The GeoSkeeper is linked to a monitoring centre (or nursing station).
