Short Description

A folding, anodised aluminium, mobile, height adjustable walking frame. It has two retractable leverage bars at the front of the walker that can be extended to assist the user to stand. A carer is required to hold the leverage bars. The walker has two front castors and two rear skis. Designed for adult use.

Method Of Use

* Lock wheels
* Pull up leverage bars until snap buttons lock in place
* Place walker 150 mm in front of chair
* User places hands in middle of leverage bars or as far up leverage bars as comfortable with their nose over their toes
* Carer holds onto leverage bars at the carer's shoulder height. This is above the users hands
* Carer places one foot in front of the other
* User leans so nose is over toes and uses the leverage bars to stand. Carer must continue to hold onto the leverage bars whilst the user stands
* When standing, user holds onto walker handgrips
* Push release buttons at base of leverage bars and push leverage bars into the walker

*The frame has push button height adjustment for the frame legs
* The central cross bar has two push buttons which are depressed to fold the two sides inwards against the front section of the frame
* It has two 125mm (5") front, solid rubber, fixed direction castors with foot operated brakes and two nylon skis on the rear
* It has rubber hand grips
