A guide describing features to consider when choosing bed rails and protectors.
An 'L' shaped powder coated steel bed rail that can fit any bed. The base section slides under the mattress. The upright section provides three horizontal rails to assist the bed user to turn over or to assist themselves to sit up from a lying position.
Dropside portable bed rail with a U shaped base which slides under the mattress and is stabilised by the mattress weight. The dropside mechanism operates by means of a cradled hook which supports the lower cross rail. The rail is lowered by first raising slightly and unlatching the hook.
A removable, fixed shape bed rail made of epoxy coated steel. Bed rail is secured by sliding the U shaped base under the mattress.
A portable bed rail designed to prevent a person from rolling out of bed. The `base' fits beneath the mattress of any bed.
Soft foam bed side rail cushions designed to be placed over either stationary or collapsible bed rails whilst still enabling them to be lowered and raised. The cushions are covered with two way stretch polyurethane covers and a bottom hook & loop closure. Supplied as a pair.
This mat consists of three sections of safety foam covered by a hinged nylon cover. It is designed to be placed on the ground beside the bed to assist in preventing injuries to patients rolling out of bed. The mat can be folded and held together with ties for easy storage when not required. Available in one size.
A padded bed rail protector made from hospital grade vinyl. It is a full wrap over design and attaches to the rail with hook and loop fasteners.
