The advantage of clothes lines, in general, is that sun and wind dry your clothes; this method is cheap and environmentally friendly and does not wear out clothes as quickly as clothes dryers. The disadvantage of clothes lines, is that they take up space either inside or outside the house and may be inaccessible.

Ideally an iron should be reasonably light & comfortable to use, it should get wrinkles out of delicate and heavy duty fabrics, equally the soleplate should glide smoothly, be easy to clean & have button slots.
