Power assisted wheels which can replace standard rear wheels on most manual wheelchairs. The wheels assist the user to propel the wheelchair.
A battery powered electric drive system which connects to a manual wheelchair to provide the choice of self propulsion or electric drive on the one chair. Each system consists of two stub axle mounted wheels containing the motors, one battery pack with carrying pouch, a control unit with universal mounting, a mains charger and a power distribution unit.
The Power Assist is a simple system of a small electric motor in each rear wheel powered by an on board battery. It is designed to attach to the Glide G2 range of wheelchairs. The assistance is determined by the amount of effort applied to the pushrim. It comes in two versions. Type A and Type B.
The Power Assist System is specifically designed for the Jewel Tilt in Space Manual Wheelchair. The drive wheel is mounted between the transit wheels at the back of the wheelchair. The control switch is situated next to the push handles and has variable speed settings using a dial. It can be fitted to a new manual wheelchair or retro fitted to an existing wheelchair if attachments are compatible.
A kit with a drive unit which attaches to a manual wheelchair to convert it to an attendant operated powered wheelchair.
Quickie iXpress is a direct rear wheel drive, battery powered add on kit for manual wheelchairs. It allows the wheelchair to be driven with a joystick. It is compatible with Quickie 2 and IRIS manual wheelchairs. The components include a joystick, power wheels and a battery.
Power assisted wheels with an electric motor integrated into the wheel hub. They can replace standard rear wheels on the Quickie 2, Quickie GP Series, GT and GTi wheelchair models. The wheels assist the user to self propel the wheelchair. They are available in two speeds.
A battery operated Power Pak fitted to a manual wheelchair. It enables an attendant to guide the wheelchair without the need for pushing or pulling. The Power Pak is a fixture on the chair so chair cannot be folded. Available as two Power Pak models for handling loads of approximately 100kg or 125kg. The wheelchair has a 480mm seat width.
