Three pocket size cards are available free of charge to anyone with dementia or their carers. One card is for people in the early stage of dementia to assist with support from the public. The Personal Identity Card is for people with more advanced dementia. The Companion Card assists a carer to explain the person with dementia's behaviour when necessary.
These wristbands provide an alert that the wearer has a serious medical condition. They are colour coded and specifically designed so that they are very bright and easily identifiable. The bands are made from soft cotton and polyester material and are adjustable to fit babies through to adults (20cm long).
Silicone wristbands that provide an alert to the wearer's medical condition in an emergency. They have soft, rounded edges and are designed to safely snap if enough force is applied. The medical condition is embossed or written on the band. A medical condition Wallet Card is also available. The Wristbands are available in up to four sizes for both adults and children.
A necklet or bracelet, featuring a medic alert emblem with the wearer's personal membership number and the phone number of the medic alert central file. Useful for people with special medical conditions that are not easily seen, but should be immediately known in an emergency.
"Safely Home" provides a personalised stainless steel bracelet, designed be worn at all times by the person with dementia. The bracelet features a toll free telephone number and personal identification number linked to the NSW Police "Safely Home" database.
A range of jewellery which includes a watch band, pendant and bracelet. Each item has a brass capsule which contains the wearer's written medical details for reference in the case of an emergency. The pendant comes with a 550mm chain. The choice of finish includes gold plated, chrome plated and stainless steel. Available in adult and child sizes.
