Electrically operated fan forced wall ovens with a side opening door (left or right). Available in two models.
Bench top hotplates, grillers and ovens are non fitted items which are portable and plug into mains power. They are available in single hotplates, dual hotplates with or without a griller unit and small bench top ovens with or without grill facility. Bench top, combined ovens and stoves are also available.
Clothes dryers are a quick and convenient way of drying clothes, especially where hanging washing out to dry is not practical or when a person has difficulty reaching a clothes line or using pegs. Dryers can be freestanding on the floor or installed under or on a bench top, wall mounted or stacked on a front loading washing machine. Manual and electronic auto sensing dryers are available, using either vented or condenser drying. Dryers use a high level of electricity.
Cooktops are generally used in conjunction with wall or under bench ovens and can be gas or electric. A cooktop positioned in the bench, when the bench is at the desired height, allows use at a manageable level and also the possibility of installation to allow an under bench space for wheelchair access.
Dishwashers are a labour saving device, eliminating most of the work involved in washing dishes by hand. The dishes still have to be placed correctly in the dishwasher then removed and put away after the cycle is finished.
Induction cooktops provide fast, efficient cooking. They produce heat only within the pan itself. An induction coil just beneath the ceramic surface produces a magnetic field. This induces high frequency magnetic waves in the metal base of the pan, thus heating it. Energy is transferred directly to the food, eliminating the energy waste which generally occurs with conventional hotplates and boiling tops.
Laundry tubs can be purchased as a complete unit in a cabinet or separate units to be installed in a bench.
A microwave oven is a compact cooking unit which is energy efficient and does not get hot. It reduces cooking time and allows food to be heated in serving and/or lightweight dishes. Food preparation and cleaning up are minimised. Models vary from those with simple manual cook operations to units with auto cook, auto defrost and memory functions.
