The Compassionate Friends NSW is a self-help organisation whose members understand grief and have survived the death of a child, sibling or grandchild. Members of TCF NSW are there to provide knowledge support and friendship to families whose child, sibling or grandchild have died. One of the ways TCF NSW offers support is through groups who meet in various forms to meet with other bereaved people and give each other support.
Paraparents offers advice and support for people with disabilities who are contemplating or approaching parenthood, or are parents who would like to meet others in a similar situation.
This service provides support and information on a wide range of problems to parents who are struggling with issues relating to children up to 18 years of age. Parents who have children with a disability or parents with a disability are encouraged to use the service.
This association provides a sport, recreation, information and support service for families who have a member with a disability.
VOICE is a blog dedicated to raise awareness and much needed emotional support for carers of children with special needs. Users of the blog will be able to resource information and engage in chats and open forums of discussion to share experiences.
