The National Stroke Foundation is a not for profit organisation that works with the public, government, health professionals, patients, carers and stroke survivors to reduce the impact of stroke on the Australian community.
The Stroke Recovery Association provides support, information and a telephone counselling line for people who have had a stoke and their carers. The Association has a network of local support groups and can provide a speaker on stroke recovery, stroke prevention and to assist in the training of nursing assistants.
