The Brain Injury Association of NSW (BIA NSW) is the state peak body representing people who have an acquired brain injury and their families. Provides lobbying, advocacy, information dissemination, referral, community development and training and maintains a directory of services for those with an acquired brain injury.

Brain Injury Australia (formerly known as Head Injury Council of Australia Inc) is a national peak disability organisation representing, through its state affiliated bodies, the interests of people with acquired brain injury. The aims of the council are to assist all Australians living with acquired brain injury to have equal participation within the community, to achieve optimum quality of life and to increase community awareness and understanding.

Head East is a community based service for people with an acquired brain injury and their families living in the Eastern Sydney area. The service aims to assist people to develop fulfilling, self directed and independent lifestyles and to become valued members of their community.
