PART 1 includes details regarding critical dimensions, lifting capacity, control systems and performance requirements of vehicle mounted hoists and ramps. PART 2 provides a brief list of considerations for installation of these ramps and hoists.
This Standard specifies requirements and test methods for hoists and body support units for the transfer of disabled persons.
