Short Description
A giraffe shaped multi-adjustable seat with posture supports. It is designed primarily to break the strong extensor pattern in children with high muscle tone. It has a wooden tray which attaches to height and angle adjustable armrests.

UPHOLSTERY: Foam covered with cotton backed vinyl which can be wiped clean.
SEAT: . Depth and angle adjustable.
. Lap strap adjusts and fastens with velcro.
KNEEBLOCK & ABDUCTION BLOCK:
. Can be used together or separately.
. Knee block prevents sliding forward and pelvic rotation.
BACK:
. Upright or reclined. Can be adjusted independently of the seat.
. A tilt in space position can be achieved.
. Reclining the back can also assist a child with low tone and poor head control.
. Chest strap is adjustable and fastens with velcro.
HIP & SIDE SUPPORTS:
. Adjustable in height and width.
. Hip supports must be around the childs hips, and side supports fit under the arms to support the child's trunk. There should be approximately 1-2 fingers of space between the child's armpit and the trunk support to avoid discomfort and nerve entrapment.
SHOULDER PAD: Adjusts in height.
TRAY & SEAT ARMS:
. Seat arms are height and angle adjustable.
. Tray attaches to the arms by a wooden knob and positioning pin on each side. An activity frame can be slotted onto the tray.
FOOTPLATE AND SANDALS:
. Footplate adjusts in height and angle.
. Sandals adjusts forwards and backwards and sideways.
DIMENSION: Seat to Footplate: 150mm - 255mm
HEAD SUPPORT: Can be moulded around the childs head.
. Giraffe - 9 months to 4 years
. A long handled Allen key is used to make adjustments.
