More Details
* The hoist is constructed from epoxy coated rectangular steel tube. The base frame has a protective covering of plastic vinyl.
* It has a lifting boom with a peck end, with a straight padded spreader bar with three attachment hooks on each end. A curved steering / push handle is mounted at the top of the mast. The boom moves up and down via a hand held control.
* The U shaped base is adjusted in width into four positions by a foot pedal system. The base is articulated separately from the rear castors. This allows the base width to be adjusted whilst the brakes are on.
* Can be used in conjunction with the Huntleigh range of slings.
* Lift range: Floor to high bed
* Foot pedal operates variable leg positioning
Features
Slings are purchased separately to the hoist. An extensive range of styles and sizes are available. Including general purpose sling with divided legs, with or without head support, hammock slings, and two piece band slings in either polyester or mesh fabrics available with optional padding.
Castors
Swivel style. 75mm dual castors on the front and 100mm castors with lock on brakes on the rear.
Electric Controls
Hand held on an extendable cord with separate buttons for raising and lowering the hoist at either one or two speeds, depending on the model. There is a hook on the hand piece to enable it to be located on the hoist when not in use.
Power Source
From a battery mounted on the mast of the hoist. An audible signal occurs when the battery charge is reduced to 30% of capacity.
Battery Recharging
Achieved by removing the battery and placing it in the supplied separate battery charger, connected to a mains power point.
Dismantling
The hoist is dismantled by removing the mast from the base. It can be reduced further into individual sections by removing locating pins.
Safety Feature
The boom stops automatically in the event of it encountering any resistance. If the lowering button continues to be pressed, the machine will continue to adjust. When the resistance is removed, the boom will fall to the new low position.
