Disabilities Program provides professional support and advice to public and private providers, to ensure that the educational programs and learning support they provide for people with a disability are inclusive. They provide services to TAFE NSW Institutes, Adult Community Education (ACE), Adult Migrant Education Services (AMES), Department of Education and Training co-ordination (DTEC) Centres and private providers.

. In TAFE NSW Institutes, teacher / consultants for students with a disability work with students and other TAFE staff to negotiate and implement reasonable adjustment in the learning environment. Reasonable adjustment can include a range of support strategies, tutorial support, interpreters, notetakers, adaptive technology, fee exemption, flexible delivery or exam modifications.
. People with a disability seeking to enrol in a TAFE NSW course, should contact a teacher / consultant for students with disabilities. Teacher /consultant are located across the state at TAFE campuses and they are available to discuss and negotiate individual educational support plans.
