. The range includes:
- PVC formula tiles that can be applied to an existing ground surface - - stainless steel hazard warning domes and directional indicators (raised rows) that are inset into the ground or glued onto the ground.

. Mainly used on existing surfaces eg existing buildings, footpaths, platforms, walkways but are also suitable for new surfaces

Stainless Steel Hazard Warning Dots and Directional Guides
. Stainless steel profiled tactile disks.
. Available as a Hazard Warning Dot with a flat base or a Hazard Rivet Dot with a leg.
. These are individually fixed to the ground surface
. The rivet dots are recommended for floor materials eg tiles, carpets. A bore hole must be made then filled with adhesive).
Pre Cast Compressed Stone Tile
. Need to be inset to be flush with surrounding ground surface

. Suitable for wet and dry conditions

Installation
These tiles must be installed professionally and used only as tactile ground surface indicators. Installation must be in accordance with requirements specified in AS1428.4.
. The PVC tiles are adhered to the top of the surface with assorted types of epoxys or adhesives.
. Installation of the pre - cast requires insetting into flooring.
. Installation of stainless steel domes requires either gluing onto the ground or models with rivets (including the directional indicators) are glued into a bored hole the ground. Bore hole 10mm wide and 20mm deep. Manufacturer will provide details of specified placement distances.

Tactile ground surface indicators (TGSI) should comply with the current edition of the Australian Standard AS1428.4 - Design for access and mobility Part 4: Tactile Indicators. This standard provides specifications on the form of TGSI and on their installation. Refer to this standard to determine the luminance contrast required between the TGSI and the surrounding ground surface and for installation details including width, length and location for a wide range of applications.
The Building Code of Australia specifies in what situations TGSI must be installed. To comply with the BCA the installation must be in full compliance with the relevant sections of the current AS1428.4.
