Short Description
A handheld device for people with visual impairment. It produces an audible tone, which varies in pitch and volume depending on the level of light detected. One model also has a print locate function. Has applications in the home, office or work situation.

Features of both models
* Can be used to check light indicators on appliances such as video cassette recorders, answering machines, ovens, battery chargers, computers etc.
* Dfferentiate between yellow, green and red LED colours. The darker the light, the lower the tone
* Detect if television and stereo remote controls are operating
* Locate globe function in rooms, lamps, refrigerators lights etc
* Check if curtains and blinds are drawn properly for added privacy
The print location model
* Has a side switch for transferring from light sensing to print location
* Identifies the print side of a sheet of paper when scanning, copying or faxing
* Can be used to tell which side of a cheque has the print side on it when a signature is required
* Responds to different levels of reflected light and can detect differing shade in pictures and in simple patterns and drawings
* Is held like a pen over a page
* Emits a constant high pitch on a white page
* Writing is depicted by a warbling sound. The lighter the page - the higher and louder the tone
