The supplier offers a large range of bed surrounds, headboards and sidetables which are all interchangeable.
FRAME:
Solid wood or steel base. Each of the beechwood slats is mounted on its own rubber pivot to flex independently, acting as a shock absorber to support and mould to the shape of the users body. Also each slat under the lumbar region has a rigidity adjuster allowing the flexibility of the slats to be customised
HEADBOARD:
Optional wooden headboard
ADJUSTMENTS:
Backrest angle and legrest angle are adjusted by being manually lifted and slotted into place at the required angle. Note: legrest raise (bed frame bends at knee area and the foot end of the bed remains elevated)

Latex rubber in 150mm to 200mm thickness in various degrees of firmness

Factors To Consider
In certain circumstances there is an element of risk involved in the use of a bed pole or bed rail. All users require an initial risk assessment. A risk assessment should be undertaken in each circumstance of use. The Bed Pole or Bed rail should not be used in circumstances where there is a gap between the vertical components and the mattress. Users most at risk would include: those with physical limitations, cognitive impairment or a combination of both, or where the intended user's faculties are comprised by medication. Users should have the risk assessed prior to the prescription of a bed rail or bed pole.
Regular monitoring is recommended particularly where the condition is changing.
