Short Description
The Beta is an abduction seating system with a roll seat design. It features tilt in space, a locking castor base, tray and a range of postural supports. It is available in two sizes to accommodate children in the approximate age range of 3 to 10 years.

More Details
* The chair is able to be tilted forward in a prone position up to 15 degrees, and tilted backwards up to 25 degrees
* The overall height of the chair is also adjustable by a foot activated pedal at the rear of the frame
* A height adjustable push handle is featured at the rear of the backrest.
* The castors are 75mm in diameter of which the rear two are locking.
Headrest:
The headrest is adjustable in height, angle, width and depth.
Backrest:
* The backrest consists of two separate components being the upper backrest pad and the lumbar support pad. Both can be adjusted in height, angle and depth
* The upper backrest pad features a pair of thoracic supports which are adjustable in height and width.
* A chest strap is also included which is length adjustable and secures with a buckle clasp
* The backrest angle is adjustable separately from the seat. It adjusts up to 15 degrees forward and 15 degrees backward from vertical.
Seat
* The roll seat allows for different degrees of abduction within different postures. The degree of abduction can be set individually at each hip
* The two sides of the abduction roll seat are independently adjustable in angle
* Padded lap strap is length adjustable and secures with a buckle clasp
* Hip pads are width and angle adjustable.
Footrest
* The footrest consists of a hanger and two sandal foot supports which are individually adjustable in height and angle.
* The sandals can be flipped up out of the way when required.
Tray
A removable tray is secured onto the chair via the armrests. The position adjusts as one unit for height and angle.
