This scooter has an off board charger which is plugged in on the tiller. The secondary high low speed switch is located on the side of the tiller next to the key ignition. The free wheeling mechanism is located above the rear anti tip wheels, push the lever to "N" for free wheeling. A hand brake is provided for use when free wheeling the scooter, or when you want the scooter to slow down faster in an emergency.
A mirror is provided as standard and the body colour comes in blue or red
FEATURES
SEAT The seat swivels by lifting a lever located on the right side, under the seat. Seat sheight is adjustable by releasing the seat swivel lever and turning the seat to a non locked position and lifting it off. Then removing the pin located in the seat post. Seat height is changed and seat replaced.
A sliding seat mechanism, activated by turning a lever under the front of the seat, allows the driver to alter seat position while seated.
The lever located at the base of the backrest is used to adjust the seat backrest angle.
TRANSPORTING the scooter is facilitated by, removing the seat and
seat pillar. Then pull up the rear body panel (held on with hook and loop tape) and disconnect the cable to the rear lights - remove the cover. Now the batteries can be disconnected, undo the straps holding down the batteries and remove the batteries. Lastly unlock the latch at the centre of the scooter and pull the front and rear of the scooter apart. Fold down the tiller.
FREEWHEELING mechanism is operated by a lever situated above the rear anti tip wheels.
BATTERY CHARGING is achieved by connecting the off board charger to the charging point on the tiller.
BATTERIES two 12 volt 50A/H batteries are stored under the seat.
REAR WHEEL is 300mm diameter, pneumatic.
FRONT WHEEL is 300mm diameter, pneumatic.
FOOTSPACE is covered with slip resistant matting.
CONTROLS are a flat, rocker style for acceleration and reverse functions, a speed control knob with min / max indicators, and lights to indicate battery status. Flat push button controls are provided for the horn, indicators, hazard light function, and front and rear lights. A key turns the scooter on/off. The controls are set standard for right hand use, but can be changed by the supplier for left hand use.

The space allowed on public transport for carrying mobility equipment is an area of 1300mm by 800mm.
State transit will only carry scooters with an unladen weight of less than 200 kg and which can be driven onto the bus, and manoeuvred to fit wholly within the designated wheelchair space under their own power. Any such scooters carried must also comply where relevant with the rules applying to wheelchairs.
Three wheeled mobility aids of any kind are unstable in normal bus operations and will not be carried because of the safety risk.
Accessible buses display a blue and white wheelchair sign on the front of the bus, and on the easy access door.
