Short Description

An electronically operated bed with adjustable height, backrest and leg raise. This bed will dismantle for ease of installation and assembly. Hi lo function range from 390mm to 800mm. Available as a single bed that can be widened to a king single size by replacing the base and head / foot ends. The single bed can take loads of 150kgs. The king single will take up to 300kgs

More Details

Frame
Steel frame with a base made up of laminated flexible beech wood slats. The slats are very strong, resilient and contour around the body shape. The slats are housed in synthetic rubber shoes, which are then pushed into the steel frame. The sliding slat adjuster system is used to create a firmer feel. The king single has a steel mesh base for extra strength. Clearance beneath is ample for all types of hoist.

Headboard / Footboard
The head and foot board have a light wood veneer finish. The footboard is removable.

Adjustments
Backrest angle, legrest angle and knee break option

Controls
The voltage in the hand control panel is transformed down to 24volts. Battery back up in the event of a power failure.

hospital grade foam with zippered Mediflex cover
hospital high grade foam with convoluted surface, raised sides and stretch cover
Sealy inner spring with cut outs to accommodate a profiling bed

Castors four individually lockable castors
With rubber outers for comfort and quietness, the four large sturdy wheels, each with their own brake system, allow the bed to be moved with ease.

Motor The electric motor is made by Dewert in Germany.

Dismantling
Head and footboards can be removed from bed frame. Bed can also be separated in the middle. It does not fold together. A trolley is available to transport the bed.

Sizes
The single and king single are the 2 sizes available. The length of the bed is the European 2metre dimension.
There is an in built provision (optional) to lengthen the bed up to 210cms.
May be suitable for bariatric use.

Note:
- legrest raise: leg section of bed elevates and bends at knee area and the foot end of the bed remains elevated parallel to the bed frame
- Knee break: leg section of bed elevates and bends at knee area so the legs below the knee are angled downwards (triangular configuration)
