A rear wheel drive, powered wheelchair with a powered lower and raise function that take the chair from eye level to ground level. It also has a 45 degree tilt in space function. It has four wheel suspension and is suitable for indoor and outdoor use. The wheelchair is suitable for adults and children up to 60kg. It is available with a universal seating attachment system.

More Details

The Ezi Riser comes with an adjustable suspension system to allow for changes in the user's weight over time. The rear wheel motors are independently mounted on rubberised suspension. The front suspension can be independently tuned to suit the user.

The Ezi Riser has a central pivot point to assist with curb mounting and dismounting.

The batteries are placed low to assist with stability when the chair is in the raised and tilted position. Speed limiting switches proportionally decrease the speed when the chair reaches a pre-programmed height.

The Ezi Rider is designed to allow for at least 5 years of growth.

FRAME - Stainless steel / cast aluminium frame. Vehicle tie downs. Coloured shroud on the base.

SEAT - Available with a universal seat mounting system to allow for a variety of seating systems and inserts. Standard seat and backrest are foam padded and covered with black leatherette (synthetic) material.
Three seat height settings. Seat lowers to floor level. Three seat sizes or seat can be customised.

HEADREST - optional

ARMRESTS - full length, lift up padded and upholstered. Adjustable in height and angle

LEGREST - Centre mounted, automatically adjusting angle to allow for power lower function.

FOOTPLATES - One piece metal footboard

WHEELS - 305 mm Pneumatic rear wheels

CASTORS - 200 mm urethane solid castors. Single sided castor fork (inside) so the fork won't hit walls/obstacles.

CONTROLS - Penny & Giles (or Permobil) joystick. Toggle switches for height and tilt in space adjustment

BATTERIES - G12 40 amp hour. Separate off board charger. Plug in battery charger point on control. The batteries are mounted so that they can slide out to reduce the overall weight of the wheelchair so that it can be lifted into a vehicle for transport.

MOTOR - Motor disengagement: freewheel lever on rear of base

TRANSPORT or DISMANTLING - other than the removable batteries, it is not able to be disassembled for transport. A wheelchair hoist on the back of the vehicle is recommended.

BRAKES - Electromagnetic brakes
