A folding battery powered within bath hoist with a reclining backrest. It features single push button operation that allows the bather to descend and control the angle of recline. Available with a range of options.
Method Of Use
The Bathmaster Sonaris is operated by lightly pressing the large control pads, which are textured to assist the visually impaired
Smooth steady action including a transition interval between reaching the base of the bath and reclining allows the user to remain in a controlled position increasing confidence and security
The user can select the preferred angle of recline enabling the most comfortable and suitable position to be chosen
Speed is decreased during reclining of the backrest so that the bather feels more comfortable
Options
Covers 1/4" closed cell foam pad snaps into place on both the seat and the back providing additional comfort to the bather.

Materials
Strong all plastic construction is easy to clean. Latex free optional covers for seat and backrest.
Seat
Contoured seat and backrest. The lightweight seat and back click together for quick assembly, installation and removal. Large side flaps allow easy transfers.
Base
The Sonaris fits most shapes and sizes of bath tubs. It has suction cup feet that may be angled in any direction to suit the curvature of the bath.
Power source
Rechargeable battery, light indication for full charge or need to recharge, safety features such as emergency raise and lower. Battery provides 18 lifts per charge (based on 220-lb. load). It only requires three hours to fully charge
Portability
Folds flat. Holding points on each component simplify carrying and transportation.
Safety features
An audible beep and warning light identify when the battery requires charging and when to stop using the bath lift.
An in built safety mechanism ensures the bath lift will not lower if there is insufficient charge in the battery to raise the user.
An automatic sleep facility occurs after 10 minutes of non use in order to optimise battery performance. Reactivate simply by pressing a control pad.
