Short Description

A rear wheel drive, fixed frame, powered wheelchair designed for use by children. It features a powered tilt in space and a manually adjustable backrest reclining mechanism, rear suspension and adjustable seat width and depth. A range of options is available. It is available in three seat widths.

More Details

Frame
The wheelchair frame is manufactured from steel and has a powder coated finish. A wide range of custom and commercially made seating systems can be fitted onto the frame. Power tilt in space is standard on the wheelchair. Backrest angle (recline) can be adjusted manually.

Seat
The standard seat and backrest is padded with memory foam and upholstered. The backrest shell is adjustable in width and depth. The seat is adjustable in width and depth to accommodate growth of the user.

The seat component can be removed from the wheel base to facilitate transportation of the wheelchair. The seat frame and base frame feature tie-down points for transportation in a vehicle.

Upholstery
It is a two way stretch, breathable (vapour permeable) material. Cover can be removed and is washable to 85 degrees Celsius.

Suspension
The wheel base features coil spring suspension on the rear wheels.

Tilt In Space
Powered, weight shift style tilt in space and is adjustable between 2 and 30 degrees.

Push Handles
Consists of two individual push handles which are adjustable in height. These are mounted on the back of the chair

Backrest
The backrest is also width adjustable to accommodate for seat width adjustment. The wheelchair has a height adjustable, contoured, padded headrest.

Armrests
Armrests are available in full length, height and angle adjustable as standard. Other options are available.

Footplates
Footplates are two piece and angle adjustable.

Wheels
Rear wheels are 200mm (8") diameter, with 50mm (2") wide tread, pneumatic tyres as standard.

Castors
Front castors are 70mm (3") diameter, with 25mm (1") wide tread, solid rubber as standard.

Controls
The Dyamix G90 controller is programmable and features flush on and off switches, proportional joystick, battery charge level indicator, speed control, powered tilt in space and warning horn. The battery charging point is also located on the controller unit. The controller can be mounted on the left or right armrest.

Batteries
Batteries are 2 X 12 volt (24/26Ah) stored in two sealed battery boxes with carry straps. Battery charger is separate.

Motor
Two poles motors, rear wheel drive.

Freewheel
The motor can be disengaged and the chair free wheeled by pulling two knobs located at the hub of each rear wheel.

Safety Features
Anti tip wheels are fitted to the rear of the wheelchair base and are height adjustable.

Transport or Dismantling
Breaks down to four parts for transport.
