Short Description
A self propelled wheelchair with a folding lightweight steel frame. The wheelchair has quick release rear wheels with dual position axles. There is a choice of full length or desk armrests. The wheelchair is available in three adult size seat widths. A range of options is available.

Frame
* The frame is constructed of lightweight steel and is folding
* The folding mechanism consists of single cross members
* Wheel axle slots are on the rear uprights on the frame
* The frame is epoxy coated in silver
Seat
* The seat is slung style with padded upholstery
* It is available in three seat widths and a single seat depth
Upholstery
The upholstery is black, padded reinforced nylon
Backrest
* The backrest is a slung style and padded with integrated push handles on the back canes
* The backrest angle is fixed
* The backrest is removable by unscrewing two plastic wing nuts
Armrests
*The armrests are padded and available in full length or desk length at a single height
* They can be removed by depressing a spring loaded pin located at the front of the armrest
* Plastic side guards are integrated into the armrest
Legrests
* The legrests are length adjustable (spring clip mechanism), removable and swing away
* The swing away mechanism operates via a lever mounted alongside the lower mounting bracket
* Elevating legrests with calf pads are available as an option
Footplates
The footplates are composite (plastic) with heel loops provided as standard. They lift up,are a fixed angle and available in one size only.
Wheels
* The rear wheels are spoke style 24" (610 mm) with pneumatic tyres, and feature a quick release axle
* They can be set in two different positions to alter the rear seat to floor height
* The camber is set at zero degrees
* The handrims are anodised aluminium
Castors
* The standard castors are 8" x1 1/4" (200 mm x 5 mm) size with a solid tyre
* The castor fork has a single position and cannot be altered
Brakes
The brakes are push to lock and the brake lever is folding for transfers.
