Short Description

A battery operated pill box and timer which features a clock, an alarm function and three compartments to store medications.

Method Of Use

Buttons:
MODE/START/STOP - To enter each reminder mode, return to real time, confirm dose taken and stop the reminder alert. This button is red, and can be accessed while lid is both open and shut.
SET - To enter each setting mode of real time or each reminder time.
ADJ - To adjust reading of real time and each reminder time, or to enable and disable each reminder.

Symbols for each reminder appear underneath the time. The first reminder is a picture of an alarm clock; however, the symbols for the 2nd, 3rd and 4th reminders are the corresponding number within a circle.

To set real time:
1. In real time mode, press SET to enter hour setting mode. The hour time will begin blinking. Use ADJ to adjust the time.
2. Press SET to enter minute setting mode. The minute time will begin blinking. Use ADJ to adjust the time.
3. Press MODE to finish setting time and return to real time.

To set reminder:
1. In real time mode, press MODE to enter first reminder. The related symbol appears and flashes.
2. To adjust reminder, follow the same steps that were used to set the real time (as above). Make sure the hour and minute numbers are steady, and that reminder symbol is flashing. This means the reminder is not yet enabled. Press ADJ to enable reminder. The symbol will stop flashing. Pressing ADJ again will disable the reminder and the symbol will start blinking again.
3. Use MODE to enter the 2nd, 3rd and 4th reminders.
The reminder is enabled if in real time mode the symbol is present.

More Details

* The clock feature is in 24 hour mode and can have up to four alarms set per day
* The alarm will initially sound three times, and then every minute after until the red stop button is pressed
* The device has a flip up lid with a small clip to access the three pill storage compartments
* The buttons for adjusting the time and alarm are located underneath a separate flip up lid. The lid does not need to be open to push the stop button
* One LR44 size battery is included.

Factors To Consider

Always check with a pharmacist before storing medications in a dispenser or storage container as some medications require special storage conditions and some medications cannot be kept in the same container as others.
