Short Description
A battery operated heavy duty mobile lifter designed for bariatric clients. It is made from aluminium and has a four point spreader bar and height adjustment in three positions.

* Hand held controls are attached to an extendable cord

Options
The walking tutor armrests can be lifted up during hoist use.
The armrests can be removed by supplier prior to delivery.

Special Features: This hoist has removable armrests, which can also flip up. Armrest have been included as a feature to assist if the hoist is used for gait training. This would be done using a walking sling.
Safety Features
Emergency stop button.
Emergency lowering mechanism. This allows for manual lowering of the boom with a client in the hoist, if there was a sudden power failure.
Factors To Consider
* Ensure that the client is no heavier than 10 kgs below the maximum load capacity of the hoist.
* Ensure the armrests do not obstruct safe use of the hoist during transfers.
* Ensure that the sling attachments are compatible with the hoist spreader bar
* The component parts of folding and dismantling hoists may still be too heavy to lift safely - check the weights
* It is recommended that prior to using this product, training in manual handling and the correct use of assistive devices should be undertaken
Maintenance
Service by supplier is recommended every 12 months.
