Short Description
A powered mobile hoist which may be used to lift and transfer a person to and from a bed, chair, or the floor. Available in one model with a range of spreader bars (including a powered tilting frame). Is suitable for domestic use, with a lifting capacity of 227kg. A range of slings are available, and there are electronic scales available as an option.

Base
The U - shaped base has powered leg adjustment via the hand controller or mast mounted controller
Mast
Features a single mast that incorporates a loop handle design and inbuilt controls
Boom
Features an angled boom with a low reach height for lifting persons from the floor
Spreader Bar
There are two spreader bars available
* Two- Point Spreader Ba
* Four- Point DPS {Dynamic Positioning System] - is a tilting spreader bar featuring an open- style design to improve comfort for the user. Used with the Arjo clip slings.
Slings
* Slings are ordered separately
* Large range of Arjo slings available for various lifting situations, and are suitable for use with this hoist
* Please note that different slings types are required for the two- point [i.e. loop] and four- point [i.e. clip] spreader bars
Controls
* A hand held, remote unit on an extendable, flexible cord is used to raise and lower the person in the sling
* Controls are also mounted on the mast
Power
The hoist is operated by a 24V 4Ah battery

Two batteries and a charger are supplied with each Maxi 500
Castors
Standard: 100mm front and rear foot- operated, lockable castors
Safety
* Features emergency stop and manual emergency lowering device
* Powered DPS provides a lock mechanism for maintaining the person being moved in a required position
Factors To Consider
* Ensure that the sling attachments are compatible with the hoist spreader bar
* The component parts of folding and dismantling hoists may still be too heavy to lift safely - check the weights
* It is recommended that prior to using this product, training in manual handling and the correct use of assistive devices should be undertaken
