Short Description
A mobile, battery operated hoist which may be used to lift and transfer a person to and from a bed, chair or the floor. The hoist is designed for bariatric applications with a 4 point spreader bar and heavy duty aluminium frame. The load capacity is 320 kg.

Frame
This aluminium framed, epoxy coated hoist has an angled mast and curved boom. It is constructed using bolted sections instead of welded joints to increase strength.
Spreader bar
The 4 point spreader bar enables the occupant's weight to be more evenly distributed over the sling surface.
Push Handle
The hoist has a large, curved push handle mounted on the mast which can assist with manoeuvrability.
Method of operation
The hoist raise and lower and leg functions are all battery powered. The legs can be opened or closed to a full range of positions. There is a Battery discharge Indicator with a coloured illuminated display which indicates power left in the battery.
Power source
The hoist is powered by removable batteries with a LED Battery discharge Indicator which displays battery charge remaining.
Battery Recharging
To recharge, remove the battery and place in recharge holder at power point.
Controls
* The hoist is operated by hand held control, which has push button controls for raise and lower and opening and closing of the hoist legs.
* The hand held control is attached to the hoist by an extendable cord.
* here are dual controls on the hoist mast. Both the controls on the mast and the hand held controls have identical touch sensitive push buttons, with pictures depicting their function.
Castors
The hoist has twin front castors of 100 mm diameter.
