Short Description
A telephone based emergency call system that has nominated persons monitoring. It features a water resistant pendant transmitter and a telephone that can also work as a normal big button two way speaker phone. It is compatible with most hearing aids with an amplified handset. When activated, the system sounds a local alarm before dialing the nominated person(s).

The system is designed to enable people who are at home alone to call for assistance when required.
Local alarm function
When the pendant button is pressed a loud alarm sounds from the phone for 15 seconds. This is to summon immediate help within the house. If help is not available, the phone will dial the nominated numbers until there is a "live" response. It will not accept an answering machine or voice mail response.

Monitoring Options
it is recommended that four emergency numbers be programmed in the phone. If wanting to use 000 as an emergency contact, this should be the last option
Testing Procedure
The pendant alarm should be pressed once a week to check the red light comes on

* This system can be installed by the user
* Batteries are provided. These are inserted in the battery compartment to activate the display on the phone
* One end of the line cord is connected to the telephone, and the other connected to the wall telephone socket
* The power adapter is connected to the telephone and a power point
* Supplier will pre-program the emergency numbers if requested by the user
