Short Description
A battery powered mobile electric hoist which may be used to lift and transfer a person to and from a bed, chair or the floor. Available in one model with a standard spreader bar that allows easy changeover from yoke to pivot frame attachments . The unit is aluminium and designed for use in domestic or health care facility setting with a lifting capacity of 155kg. Dismantles easily without tools allowing for easy transport or storage.

Mast
* Single upright mast
* The battery pack is mounted on the mast below the push handles
Handles
Easy grab handles with textured powder coating for comfort and infection control
Boom
* Less angled than most lifters which means that it can be easily manoeuvred under low structures, such as light fittings without compromising the lifting height
* The lifting arm is strong due to the curvature of the tube and special internal flanges
Spreader Bar
* Ergonomic design allows easy changeover from yoke to pivot frame attachments
* The sling attachment fixtures contain an additional bend to ensure additional safety
Slings
Novis carry a full range of slings suitable for use with either the yoke or pivot frame
Controls
* The controls are hand held on an extendable cord
* Dedicated hang hook on the mast for the hand controller when not in use
Power
* The Linak actuation system is simple to use and calibrated to cut out if attempting to lift greater than the recommended weight
Batteries
Battery life is enough for approximately 40 lifts before recharging is required
* A LED will indicate if the battery requires charging - takes less than 4 hours to recharge
* It is suggested that the unit is plugged into the mains when not being used
* There is no need to remove the battery from the lifter when recharging
Castors
* The castors are swivel style with dual 75mm diameter castors on the front and 100mm castors with lock on brakes on the back
* Wide flanged leg design for stability and ease of access around furniture
* Soft plastic front castor covers reduces the likelihood of marking furniture or paint work when bumped
Finish
* Blue matt eggshell textured finish is more durable and has better grip eliminating the need for rubber hand grips, making cleaning easier, ensuring infection control and visually appealing
Portability
* The components can easily be disconnected for transport in a car boot
* Components pull apart without tools for portability
* The mast connection sleeve comes with quick release locking bolts and there is an Allen Key contained within the box
Safety
Includes emergency power shut off button on the actuator and a safety descent button on the lifting arm in the even that a lack of power (flat battery) occurs during lifting
