* If alternative access is required, consider another device that does features thre required function
Portability
* Consider suitability for people who are independently mobile and the accessories available to assist
* Consider positioning options at the same time as the device. Effective access to the device is linked to appropriate positioning
Programming
* As with all speech generating devices, as the communication needs of the person using the speech generating device changes, any pre-stored messages may also require changing. This may or may not be an ongoing process
* Other overlay making software might be required if particular symbol sets are needed

Speech Quality
* The device uses high quality digitised, or recorded, speech playback
* QuickTalker 7 has six minutes of recording time to use across all cells and all levels
* QuickTalker 12 has nine minutes of recording time to use across all cells and all levels
* QuickTalker 23 has eighteen minutes of recording time to use across all cells and all levels
* Volume is loud and clear
Programming
* There are three models available. QuickTalker 7 has four message cells per level and 3 static cells, QuickTalker 12 has 9 message cells per level and three static cells, QuickTalker 23 has 20 message cells per level and three static cells
* Overlays, the visual representation of what message is recorded on each cell, are inserted from the side and an overlay storage compartment is built in
* Easy recording with a simple recoding process
* Levels are changed and volume modified by controls on the front of QuickTalker

* Direct touch access only via the touch sensitive touch pad
