Short Description

The SF 1000 lifting platform is a mains powered vertical lifting platform that transports a user in a wheelchair up to a 1000 mm height difference. It has indoor and outdoor applications. It features an access ramp, which also functions as a gate, and there are hand rails on both sides.

Method Of Use

To raise the lifting platform from its lowest level
1. When lifting platform is at its lowest level, and the access ramp has been lowered to that level, the wheelchair user can drive into/up onto the lifting platform without hindrance.
2. Pressing UP button on the hand held controller continuously raises the access ramp; this then functions as a guard against rolling off.
3. When the access ramp has risen to its highest level, and if the UP button is is still being depressed, the platform will rise.
4. When the lifting platform is level with the landing, the platform stops automatically and the user can drive onto the landing.

To lower the lifting platform from its highest level
1. The wheelchair user drives onto the lifting platform.
2. Pressing DOWN button on the hand held control lowers the lifting platform. The platform is activated for as long as the button is depressed.
3. When the lifting platform is at its lowest level, and if the DOWN button is still being depressed, the access ramp will be lowered and the user can drive off the lifting platform.
