Short Description
AirPal Platform is an air mattress inflated via a portable air supply. It is used as a client transfer device for lateral transfers. The Airpal has a load capacity of 544kg and is designed to eliminate the use of a hoist for transfers in lying. Handles on either side of the mattress assist attendants to transfer the occupant. Different models and options are available.

The Airpal allows an occupant to be transferred laterally on an inflatable platform from one surface to another
* Ergonomic loop handles are located at four points (on both sides and either end of the mattress) to allow the attendant to slide the patient more easily from one surface to another
* Features patented ergonomic length color coded transfer straps
* Specialty engineered fabrics for clinical environments are used throughout (Lectrolite, Sure Chek Fusion III, Linea 70)
* All seams on the AirPal PLATFORM are double stitched (not heat sealed) and attachment points are reinforced throughout
* Treated with an antibacterial coating. waterproof, vapour permeable (breathable) urethane inner coating
* The platform top layer is Sure-Check fusion III reducing skin pressure and shear which also has an antistatic checking coating
* Every platform comes with its own additional launderable extended width nylon sani-liner
* All platforms and sani-liners are colour coded for ease of identification and usage

Maintenance
Wipe down after each use utilising a properly diluted EPA approved germicidal cleaning solution, alcohol (70% isopropyl of Ethyl) or bleach solution diluted 1:10, or your hospital approved solution.
Soils or Stains:
1. Wipe fabric clean with neutral suds and lukewarm water. Rinse with water.
2. Hard to clean spots: Use standard liquid household / vinyl cleaners and/or soft bristle brush. Pre-soak as needed
3. Disinfection: Dilute disinfectants and/or germicides as specified on manufacturer's product label
