Accessible Transit Specialists specialise in wheelchair access conversion on vehicles. They can convert any suitable vehicle to wheelchair access using ramps or automatic wheelchair lifts.
Activan is a Chrysler Voyager van which has been adapted to accommodate a wheelchair user as a driver or passenger.
Automobility offers four main rear access wheelchair conversions as well as a self drive from a wheelchair conversion. The vehicles include Kia Carnival, Mercedes Benz Vito, Volkswagen Transporter and Chrysler Voyager. Side entry is optional on the Volkswagen. Vehicle conversions can be customised.
The Baribunma Wheelchair can adapt to fit most commercially available people mover vans by reducing sufficiently in height to allow ready access. With smaller wheels and a small, easily fitted lockdown, the Wheelchair needs no additional restraints. The vehicle can be driven from the wheelchair provided an automobile approved seat with a headrest is fitted to the Baribunma base. A special package with a Baribunma fitted to a Mercedes Benz Vito van is available.

Many companies manufacture vans that with modifications are suitable for transporting people in wheelchairs, ie. with wheelchair hoist or ramps, wheelchair restraints, raising the roof and/or door opening heights, alteration of seating arrangements, etc.
New and used vehicles for the transport of one or two wheelchair bound occupants. Suitable for manual or electric wheelchairs. Access for the wheelchair is by a folding ramp through a rear door making use of the more common parking bays in car parks. Available for purchase and rental.
