This robotic arm wheelchair hoist delivers a manual wheelchair from the driver or side passenger door of a vehicle, into the boot, and gently closes the door behind. With another press, the wheelchair is returned to the driver's or passenger seat door when required. The hoist is stored behind the rear seats of the vehicle. There are two models to suit fixed frame or folding frame wheelchairs.
A wheelchair carrier which carries a folded manual wheelchair at the rear of a vehicle. The base tilts so wheelchair can be lifted or pushed on at ground level. Two models for transit and large rear wheels.The transit model has a rectangular wire mesh base with raised sides.
A roof mounted wheelchair carrier and winch with fibreglass weatherproof cover. The winch lifts the wheelchair onto the roof and positions it on the bracket and the cover slides together. The AWL-1600 Back Saver is a battery powered, rear exterior lift which stores and transports a manual wheelchair at the back of a car. The AWL-1610 Back Saver Swing-Away is suitable for vehicles with a reargate opening. It has the same features as the Back Saver but can also be swing to the side to allow access to the rear gate. When selecting a method of storing a wheelchair or scooter in a vehicle the appropriate choice depends largely on the weight of the wheelchair or scooter and the carer's or user's ability to handle the equipment. Three methods of loading wheelchairs / scooters are ramps, hoists and carriers.
This battery powered hoist is mounted in the boot or tailgate of a car and lifts the Rascal scooter and powered wheelchairs (or other types if adapted) into the boot. A winch type motor raises and lowers the boom and is powered by either the car or scooter battery. A hand held control mounted on a long cord operates the winch. Available in three models: Folding, Take-A-Part (non folding) or Towbar mounted.
This trailer is purpose built to carry powered wheelchairs and three and four wheeled scooters. It is designed to fit large and small cars fitted with a standard tow bar. The unit is RTA inspected.
