Every Australian Counts is the campaign for the introduction of a National Disability Insurance Scheme. The NDIS will revolutionise the way people with a disability, their families and carers are supported in Australia.
The Productivity Commission released their final report to the government in late July and the Labour Government released the Report on 8 August 2011.
The Report provides analysis of the aged care sector and proposals for aged care reform. The Reoprt's recommendations will be considered as part of the Government’s broader ageing agenda.
The Independent Living Centre NSW is proud to support the Every Australian Counts campaign.

For more than a decade, the Independent Rehabilitation Suppliers Association (IRSA) has been well known for their Daily Living Expo and for representing the views and aspirations of suppliers of equipment and services that enhance the mobility and independence of people with disabilities and older Australians.
At 2011 Daily Living Expo, IRSA announced their new identity as Assistive Technology Suppliers Australasia or ATSA.
ATSA believe that it is time to adopt the internationally recognised term assistive technology as opposed to aids and equipment or rehab equipment. This more accurately encompasses the broad range of products and services provided by their organisation’s membership. ATSA aims and objectives remain the same and importantly so does the focus of the Daily Living Expo.
