Short Description
The scanning bed controller (SBC) uses a scanning sequence to operate all bed movements with any single switch. With this device, people with extremely limited movement can have full control over an electric bed. A specially designed scanning sequence is used to operate all bed movements. Any single switch can be used.
More Details
. The scanning sequence guides the user through a menu, which selects the part of the bed to be moved, and then offers a choice of up or down. The step speed can be adjusted over a very wide range.
. The menu has colour coded lamps, which can be seen in the dark. These switch off when the SBC is not used.
. The small SBC box can be easily positioned to ensure good visibility.
. If the movement of the bed pulls the user away from the control switch, the motors stop.
. The Controller also features an infrared interface. This enables an electric bed to be operated from an infrared remote control.
. Environmental control units can be connected to operate with the SBC.
. The system will operate a massage motor.
