Short Description
Guide Dogs NSW/ACT provides a range of mobility and orientation
services to people with a vision impairment or low vision. Services are
provided to people of all ages and all languages (interpreter services
can be organised).

Services provided by the Guide Dog Association:
. Long cane training.
. Orientation and mobility training.
. Use of electronic aids.
. Stroke recovery programme.
. Sighted guide training for family and friends.
. Children's services.
. Programmes for people with multiple disabilities.
. Service workshops for community organisations.
. Pets as therapy programme.
. Low vision clinic.
Hours: 9 am - 5 pm Monday to Friday
Geographic area: NSW and ACT
Referrals: - Self or by a health care worker, doctor, etc.
Fees: All services are provided to the service user free of charge.
