It features alternating air cells beneath a profile-cut pressure relieving foam insert. Suitable for people who are at medium to high risk of developing pressure ulcers. A range of sizes, foam density and hardness, are available on request.

This mattress system is suitable for use in nursing environments or in the home. It It is designed to be a cost effective way of upgrading from a static mattress to a dynamic mattress. An electrically operated pump introduces the alternating air feature.
Structure
The Dynamic Plus system is a complete mattress that replaces an existing mattress on a bed. It has the following features
* Two way stretch PU Waterproof Cover
* Firm foam base and sides, for easy transfer
* Profile-cut pressure relieving foam insert (surface layer)
* Alternating air cells between the foam base and foam surface layer. (These cells are individually replaceable). Air cells alternate on a ten minute cycle.
Pump / Controls
* A mains supply electric pump is connected to the alternating air section of the mattress system
* The pump features an adjustable Pressure Control Switch and a Low Pressure Indicator
* The pump attaches to the end of the bed with two hooks
* Cycle Time - 10 minutes
* Noise Level - <20 dB
* Operating Pressure - 22mmHg - 75 mmHg adjustable

Cover
* The cover is made from a two way stretch PU with doubly protected seams (seams are welded and sewn)
* It has a full length water fall flap covering the zip
* It is vapour permeable (breathable), water resistant and fire retardant
* The cover is fully removable.
