Juice extractors are of three types : manual presses, presses connected to kitchen machines, and stand alone presses. The effectiveness of the extractor should be weighed against the steps involved in setting up, cleaning and disassembling the extractor. Electrical juice extractors eliminate the effort of using a manual juice extractor and may help people with weak or painful hands.
Sifting is a process that many of us avoid for one reason or another. For those persons to whom the sifting process is essential, there are sifters on the market which may make it easier.
Vacuum cleaners are available in a number of different styles: ducted vacuum cleaning systems, upright cleaners, barrel or canister style, small hand held types and fully automatic models. In addition, wet/dry vacuum cleaners are available in canister, hand held and upright styles.
A two tiered painted wire rack for storing canned drinks in the refrigerator. It is designed so that when the can closest to the front is taken, another slides to the front to take its place. Holds approximately nine cans.
A wall mounted folding clothesline that hangs at an approximately 45 degree angle which allows the user to hang out the washing in front of them, rather than having to reach up. The line is made of rust free stainless steel and aluminium.
A reinforced nylon aid with a cantilever handle that assists with opening drink cask taps.
This is a slightly curved square peeler with a swivel blade. It has a rubberised surface and flexible finger grip. The finger is slid through the grip and the device sits in the palm of the hand. A pointed tip is used to remove potato eyes.
A salt and pepper grinder with two large ergonomically shaped upright handles and transparent holders of salt crystals and peppercorns. The user can swap between salt and pepper by twisting the handle. The salt or pepper is dispensed by squeezing the handles together.
